Welcome to our website, this site was developed to educate and encourage others. Our family and those around us have witnessed a TRUE "miracle" from God! Please read our story and see for yourself how awesome God is and how great His mercy!

On October 20th 2007, our daughter, Haley, had an accident and as a result she suffered a traumatic brain injury. Haley's chance of survival was only 4% and it would truly take a miracle, but we believed in miracles. The dr.'s had given up all hope, but I found myself repeatedly telling her doctors that,  "Haley's truth comes from someone much higher than you!  God doesn't work on your time, he works on his own, & you will NOT pull the plug."

Haley was leaving the hospital five weeks later, when she suffered a stroke caused by a medical procedure & was consequently hospitalized another 7 months. This set Haley back physically, but her spirit & determination was stronger than ever.

In June of 2008, Haley was finally able to come home. Before we even left the hospital, I began researching "brain injury" treatments.  She was doing the traditional rehab of p.t., o.t., & speech, but we KNEW that we had to try something more.  God clearly led us to hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  Please, click on the "Haley's Therapy" page to view Haley's therapy & progress and what we have found is working for her.

Haley has been working very hard, getting stronger, & improving everyday.  She has had to, in a sense, start over from birth.  She has had to relearn the basics such as eating, talking, rolling over, etc...  She has been an absolute trooper all the way!  I am often taken back by her strength & how after all that she has been through, all the time she spent in the hospital, & all the challenges she has to overcome, that she has the most positive & uplifting spirit of all of us!

Haley is making SO much progress, but she needs continued therapy & treatments.  Our family has learned alot about the old saying, " you never know how good your insurance is until you have to use it."  We have a mountain of medical bills from her 8 month hospital stay & none of her therapy or treatments is covered by insurance.  The insurance company has covered little to none on the cost of medical equipment she has needed & are now denying payment for the medical supplies she has needed for the past year (for her externalized shunt).

Haley requires 24 hr. a day care at this time, therefore we are only a one income family.  We fully understand that the current times we are living in are very difficult for all of us & our family truly appreciates your loving support.  If you would like to help, please visit the donation page.  We ask you to please keep her in your thoughts & prayers.  Please, ask your friends & family to as well.  There is power in prayer & Haley is without a doubt a testament to that!
